Citizens of Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Paraguay, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America, Uruguay and Venezuela and other countries in possession of a valid passport, are not required to obtain a visa for South Africa for a period of up to 90 days if traveling as a tourist.

Please note that for entering South Africa, immigration requires that all passengers have a valid passport and at least four pages are needed to remain blank for the issuing of stamps. The passport also needs to be valid for the duration of the stay and six months after departure.
