Application Deadlines and Minimum Age

Normally, we must receive your application and fees no later than 30 days before the program starts. Acceptance of late applications is subject to space availability. To enroll you have to be at least 16 years of age.

How to apply?

We encourage you to apply online, but you may also print out a printable Application Form from your browser and send it by mail or Fax. Please note that you may apply online only if you pay enrollment fees and deposits online by credit card.

We accept VISA and MasterCard. In our Online Secure Form, we utilize the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) authentication and RC4 128 bit encryption technology. SSL encryption protects information being transmitted across the internet to our processing center.

You can also print out a monospaced printable application form from your browser, fill in your application and send it by post or by fax. If you use the printable application form, you can make your payment of the registration fee and deposits by credit card, check or international money order or by wire transfer to our bank account.

Please send us the folowing:

  1. Completed application (printed or online).

  2. A non-refundable application fee of US $100, course registration fee of $140 and a tuition deposit of $200 are required with your application. The tuition deposit is not an additional cost. The tuition deposit is part of the cost of your course. Your payment in US Dollars will be converted in Canadian Dollars according to the current exchange rate and will be deducted from the total program fees. Please note that your application will be considered only when your payment of the enrollment fees and the tuition deposit has been received.

    Accommodation placement fee of $200.00 is also required with your application if you requested accommodation placement.

Upon receiving your application, application fee and deposit, we will send you a registration confirmation and invoice.

If the student is under the age of 18 years, the government regulation states the requirement of a custodian for the duration of the student's study in Canada. If the student is staying in the school's dormitory, the School will become the custodian and if the student applies for homestay, the homestay host will become the custodian.

Any student who studies more than 6 months requires a Student Authorization. All students must obtain medical insurance prior to their arrival in Canada.

The payment of the balance of fees is due upon receipt of invoice. Your place will be confirmed only when the full payment has been received. We must receive a full payment before we send you the Official Letter of Acceptance. This document is required for obtaining a Student Authorization at a Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Canadian Education Centre in your country of origin. The invoice is issued in Canadian Dollars. The balance may be paid in Canadian Dollars or U.S. Dollars according to the current exchange rate for buyers communicated by IPSA on the invoice date.

Classes are normally not held and school facilities are closed on national holidays. Compensation will not be made for public holidays.


Attendance is an integral part of your course and an important staple of the learning process. Neither refunds, nor class time will be given for classes not attended.

If Student Visa is denied

If a Student Visa application is denied, the student must cancel the course as soon as possible and all fees, except non-refundable items, will be refunded according to the cancellation and refund policy listed on our web site. The Student must return the Official letter of Acceptance, along with a letter from the Immigration Department stating that the student visa was denied.

Postponement of Courses

The office must receive written notification at least 21 days before your course begins in order to transfer the Deposits to a later course date.

Cancellation after the course and/or lodging has started

In no case money will be refunded once the course and/or lodging has started. No refund can be given for partial attendance or the discontinuance or interruption of the course. Deposits and fees are not transferable from person to person. Students are advised to take out cancellation insurance with their local provider in case they need to cancel while they are on the course. We reserve the right to cancel any class.

Persistent Misconduct

The School reserves the right to terminate without notice the course and accommodation of any student who persistently misconducts him/herself in classes or in the family. Cancellation charges apply as above.

Force Majeure.

It is a basic stipulation of the agreement/contract between students and IPSA or consortium member schools or representatives, that neither IPSA, nor any of its member schools or representatives, is liable to the students in cases where IPSA or the school is unable to fulfill any services to which they are contractually bound because of labor disputes or other reasons beyond their control.
