All courses are taught in English.
Printmaking is not only a process practiced as far back as the Renaissance by such artistic masters as Rembrandt and Goya, but also by more modern artists, such as Picasso, Munch and Seurat. Study the art and technique of printmaking and etching at our school, and learn both historical and modern approaches to the medium. From wood panels to Plexiglas relief, calcographic presses to computer processing, emphasis in our courses is always placed on two-dimensional pictorial constructions, creative interpretation of the figure, still-life compositions, nature and geometric structures.
Learn about form, value, line and composition and their special roles in printmaking and etching. Enhance your own skills of self-expression while gaining the technical skills to begin with a matrix and finish with a fine art print. In more advanced courses, you will even have the opportunity to take part in the development of a refined art book. Prepare yourself to enter the professional world of printmaking and etching while stimulating your creativity and developing your own personal sense of style.
