Art & Design Study Abroad Programs in Italy: Painting and Drawing.

All courses are taught in English.

Brunelleschi and Ghirlandaio. Michelangelo and Botticelli. Leonardo da Vinci. These are just some of the great masters who changed forever the way we see the world. They brought about the Renaissance, some of them with the help of the historic Lorenzo de' Medici. What better way, then, to discover your own creative genius than by learning painting and drawing in Italy?

The Painting, Drawing and Mixed Media Department is here to help stimulate and advance your artistic ability and perceptual awareness. We combine technical procedures and techniques with exploring and expressing personal creativity. Each individual course involves multiple stages, usually starting from the fundamentals and moving into a more advanced, conceptual approach. At every level, lessons aim to challenge and bring out your own natural expression. With our school, you also enjoy unparalleled access to museums, festivals, and artists in the richest art environments in Europe, ready to inspire you to new heights in your artistic career.
