Homestay

If you are looking to have a more authentic living experience in New York, you may want to stay in an English-speaking household. With the home-stay option, students have the privacy of their own bedroom while living with a host family who will help students practice their English. This is an excellent opportunity to meet New Yorkers and learn about their culture and lifestyle while improving your English.

English Language Courses in New YorkIn New York City, we offer a variety of home-stay options. Students can choose bed-and-breakfast or the half board option, which includes breakfast and dinner. All home-stays are within an hour's commute to the school and most are in the outer boroughs, primarily in Brooklyn. Staying in the outer boroughs gives students the opportunity to live in a residential area in addition to enjoying excursions to tourist attractions in the city.

Residence

Our Residence Housing option offers dormitory-style housing with single and double rooms, and clean, well-maintained community bathrooms and kitchens. In addition to the room, students have weekly housekeeping and linen service, 24-hour security, and a discount on health and fitness facilities.

Located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, the Residence is close to some of the most interesting sites in New York like Central Park, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Hotels / Hostels

For students who are willing to pay more and are interested in staying in a full-service hotel, there are numerous luxury accommodation options in the heart of New York City's TriBeCa district next to the school, or in nearby trendy hotspots like SoHo, Greenwich Village, and Chelsea. You can stay in a hotel just 300 meters from the school, which is just a brief walk from the Brooklyn Bridge, the New York Harbor and the New York Stock Exchange.

For students on a tighter budget, New York has a variety of hostels available in Manhattan and also in the outer boroughs, which offer private as well as shared rooms. Often populated with a young traveling crowd, staying in a hostel can be fun, though during the busy summer months, it may be a little noisier than a hotel or home-stay.
