International Semester Courses are designed for long-term English language training - ideal if you plan to study English for 24 weeks or more. ISC is a discounted course for students who want to improve their language level, experience American life and culture, or take a year out before university.

Your program is carefully structured to ensure that you improve your level, develop confidence in using English, and have the option of taking at least one recognised international examination. ISC students benefit from:

  • A structured programme of long term General English study, for 22 lessons per week (half day courses in the mornings or afternoons) or full-day courses of 28 lessons per week
  • Flexible monthly start dates throughout the year
  • Flexible course length of 24 weeks or more
  • Specially reduced tuition and accommodation rates
  • Special "add on" programmes such as Academic English, English for Business or Tourism
  • Preparation for examinations such as Cambridge, TOEIC or TOEFL
  • Academic counselling and University Placement Service
  • Total immersion in American English and Culture for 6+ months
  • International Semester Course Pathway Program for students looking to gain entry into an American college and then university.

Our examination and special interest options help you personalise your program. You can choose from the following: 22 (mornings) and 28 lessons a week - FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, TOEIC, English for Academic Purposes. Students enrolled in the ISC with 28 lessons can also choose English for Art and Design and English for Tourism.

Optional afternoon modules are included in the tuition fees for full-day students, and are also available to morning students for an additional fee. Please note that these modules are available subject to starting dates.

International Semester Course University Pathway Program

This program is for students looking to gain entry into an American college and then university. Students completing our ISC programs (22 or 28 lessons) or any other General English programme at Advanced level are eligible to transfer to an American college and study for a 2-year Associates Degree, leading to undergraduate degree courses at a range of American universities.

Course dates and tuition fees: as for International Semester Courses 22 or 28 lessons per week.
