Our goal is to help students become U.S. Citizens who can speak and understand English easily on a daily basis. The class size is limited to a maximum of 12 students.
Our 4-week U.S. Citizenship Test Preparation Program provides all the skills you need to pass The Civics and Literacy Tests and prepare for the interview.
Classes are taught in English and/or Spanish depending on students' level.
This program is designed for immigrants scheduled to take the U.S. Citizenship Test. It focuses on developing English language skills and test preparation by teaching:
- English Language Literacy (vocabulary, verbs, phonetics, grammar, conversation, writing).
- Basic US History.
- The use of the US Constitution in the Government.
- The structure of the US Government and the three equal branches of the Federal system.
At the end, students will take a "practice" test to prepare them for the actual exam.
Our classes are small with a maximum of 12 students. You will be placed with students of your level and will study in a setting that is comfortable for adult learners. Students should take a placement test before the beginning of their classes. The duration of the placement test is 1 hour 20 minutes. You can take the test Monday through Thursday from 12 pm to 4:30 pm.
U.S. Citizenship Test Preparation is also offered as a private one-to-one course.
