Course Length: from 2 weeks to an Academic year
Hours of instruction: 20 or 25 hours per week
Levels: Six levels, beginning through advanced
Students Per Class: Average of 8 - 10 Students
This program is comprised of Core Classes (Reading and Writing; Listening and Speaking) in the morning (15 hours a week) and elective course in the afternoon (5 or 10 hours a week).
American Culture and Current Events elective course includes:
- A conversation class
- Cultural videos class
- A CD-ROM based instruction for language development
- A community project to get the students involved at a more personal level with the San Diego community
