This is a special programme of General English combined with leisure activities held at Highgate, in London. It is the ideal location for a course that combines language study with a programme of social and cultural activities - a course of English Learning and Leisure.

Starting Dates and Fees
The Language Course
Choose between an English language course of 15 lessons a week (Monday to Friday 14.00 to 17.00) or 20 lessons a week (Monday to Friday 14.00 - 18.00). The language course develops your general English, improving your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, as well as pronunciation and grammar. There is an emphasis on communication and we use authentic materials so that you can put your English to practical use in the situations where you need it. Our teachers are well-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic and we have excellent classrooms and self-study facilities.
Social and Cultural Activities
In the mornings there is a series of activities and excursions each accompanied by a teacher/guide. These include some of the following:
- Visits to museums such as the British Museum, the Theatre Museum and the London Transport Museum
- Visits to famous attractions in the centre of London such as Madame Tussauds, the Changing of the Guard and the Trocadero Centre
- Visits to local attractions like Hampstead Heath, Kenwood House and Alexandra Palace
- Guided walks and project-based activities exploring different aspects of life in London and Britain
- Sports activities such as football, bowling and ice-skating - alternative options available
- Supervised use of college self-study facilities - video, computers, language laboratory
- Materials and entrance costs are included in the price, but travel costs are extra.
You have a chance to relax and make friends as well as learn about the life and culture of London and Britain - and improve your English at the same time!

General Social Programme
There is also a separate comprehensive social programme open to all our students and many of these events are accompanied by a teacher. As well as excursions to famous places like Cambridge, Canterbury, Brighton and Stonehenge, there are international parties, barbecues and quiz nights at the college - plus trips to the theatre to see top London musicals.
This Programme is a good way to meet new people and have fun. You can join in the special events which are organised at the College or simply chat with friends over a cup of coffee. Events in the college are usually free of charge and events outside the college are offered at very reasonable prices.
