We understand that, for international students arriving in London, the quality and affordability of accommodation is extremely important. We offer a range of options and locations within London zones 1 to 5. All accommodation is checked and monitored to ensure the studentÕs safety and comfort for the duration of the stay.

Homestay

Staying in a Homestay is ideal for the English language student, providing the opportunity to speak English outside the classroom and the experience of being part of a British home. Hosts are selected for their friendliness and their homes must meet British Council (English UK) standards.

All hosts receive a personal visit from a trained Accommodation Assessor, to inspect according to these standards. The Host will provide accommodation and meals as booked. Rooms will be cleaned and bed linen and towels changed at least once a week. The student will be provided with his/her own house key and the Host is there to offer help and advice as well as to take an interest in the student's well-being.

We aim to match a studentÕs requirements as closely as possible with a suitable host. Students will not be placed in the same homestay as others of the same mother-tongue, except by special request. English is always the main language spoken in the home.

Student Halls of Residence

Accommodation in student Halls of Residence is available during the summer months (June to September) when the London University students are away on holiday. Accommodation consists of clean, comfortable single rooms allowing you the freedom to come and go as you please at any time of the day or night. Quality is good and prices are affordable. Residences offer you the privacy of your own room, but there is the chance to socialise with the other students.

International Students House

International Students House is based in the centre of London and offers both British and international students, across London, an opportunity to meet and socialise. ISH is situated in zone 1, near to the Royal Academy of Music and the University of Westminster, and within 15 minutes walking distance of Oxford Street and across the road from Great Portland Street Underground station. ISH provides accommodation for over 550 people. There is a Bar, Restaurant, Cyber Cafˇ, Coin operated Laundry and a Gymnasium.
