Accommodation, Welfare and Airport Transfers
Accommodation Placement Service:
London Central English Language School offers a variety of accommodation options, including:
- Homestay
- Hotel
- Student residences
- Hotels and guest houses
- Independent self-catering accommodation
An Accommodation Placement Fee of US$70 is charged for all accommodation bookings. For detailed information please review the "Accommodation" page of the school's online brochure.

Welfare and Counseling
At London central English Language school there are members of staff available to help make sure that your time at the school is both useful and fun. You can discuss your course with your teachers, the Director of Studies or the Principal. If you are concerned about a personal matter, or about accommodation, the Welfare Officer based at the School is happy to help you during school hours. If you need urgent assistance outside of school hours, the School offers a 24-hour emergency telephone number, providing help and assistance at all times.
Passports and Visas
We can provide letters and certificates of acceptance to assist with visa applications where required.

Insurance and Personal Security
We strongly advise that you purchase travel insurance before you leave your home country. This should cover loss of and/or damage to your personal belongings, medical expenses in the event you are ill, and tuition fees in the event of an unexpected cancellation or curtailment of your course. We can offer you a very competitive insurance package for study in the UK, which can be booked at the same time as your course. Please contact us for further details.
If you are unable to open your own bank account whilst you are studying (ie: if you are studying for less than 3 months), you may deposit money in our bank account for safe-keeping, or in the school safe.
Health
The Welfare Officer will be able to help you to arrange appointments with doctors or dentists as necessary. If you are not a resident of the EU, or a country with a reciprocal Health arrangement with the UK, you may have to pay for treatment in Britain.

Airport Transfers
We can arrange a private taxi transfer service from local airports to your accommodation. Simply request this additional service when making your reservation. Prices are shown below:

Social Programme
There is a lively social programme at London Central English Language School because of the great student culture and entertainment available in the city. The school is very close to the British Museum and within easy walking distance of some of London's best theatres, cinemas and art galleries.
The Social Organiser arranges a weekly programme of theatre and cinema visits, discos, ten-pin bowling etc., and at weekends there are full-day excursions to other British cities and places of interest.

Leisure and Cultural Life
Bloomsbury is a charming and attractive area of London, and the school is very close to the shops and attractions of Oxford Street and Covent Garden, and to Russell Square Underground Station.
More modern attractions include nightclubs, bars, rock concerts, cinemas, theatres and the city has superb shopping facilities which range from small antique stores to avant-garde boutiques and alternative music shops.
