International Junior English Summer Camp
in Kingston, England:
Kingston
Located on the beautiful River Thames and 20 km from the centre of London, the historic town of Kingston now has the title of Premier Retail Centre in the South East of England. Old meets new in its centre, full of shops, cafes and leisure facilities, 5 minutes walk from the residence. The modern Bentall Shopping Centre alone has nearly 90 shops. As well as easy access to London, Kingston is close to major tourist attractions such as Hampton Court, Windsor Castle and Thorpe Amusement Park. The South Coast, Brighton and Oxford are only an hour away by coach.
Kingston has excellent airport connections, 30 minutes from Heathrow and 40 minutes from Gatwick.
The Campus
Teaching, accommodation, catering and social facilities are all provided at Kingston University. Our residence, Kingston Bridge House, is 5 minutes walk from Kingston centre and 20 minutes walk from the main campus. The central location means students can easily reach the river and Kingston's many attractions on foot.
Campus facilities include a bright, modern food hall, spacious classrooms, and a theatre for film shows and other activities. We also arrange discos and other fun activities, all for junior students, at the nearby Students' Union Building.
Accommodation
In In Kingston all students are accommodated in single rooms in a modern residence across The River Thames opposite playing fields and Bushey Park. The residence also has vending machines and a laundry room. The accommodation is very safe with staff members staying on site as well as the residence's own security.

English Language Programme
Students study for 20 lessons per week in international classes of up to 15 students. Each lesson lasts for 50 minutes. On their first day students take a test to ensure they are placed in an appropriate level. There are six levels of study, from beginner to advanced. All students receive an end-of-course certificate.
All our teachers are graduates with recognised TEFL certificates, and are extensively briefed on the particular needs of young learners. The language is brought to life through a vibrant and functional approach. In addition to formal language skills training, lessons include project work, videos, games and use a wide variety of modern English language teaching resources.
Activity Programme
There is one full-day and one half-day excursion per week. Full-day excursions include Central London, Cambridge, Oxford, Brighton, Thorpe Amusement Park and Bath.
