International Junior English Summer Camp Locations:

The courses take place in Southampton on the South Coast (for 12-17 year olds), Nottingham in the centre of England (for 10-17 year olds), Kingston on the edge of London (for 14-18 year olds) and Reading in the centre of the south (for 10-17 year olds). All locations offer an extensive range of cultural, leisure, entertainment and shopping facilities. With the variety of centres we offer, we are sure you can find one that suits your personal needs.

In 2007 we welcomed students from over 30 countries to our summer camps in the UK and USA. From Montenegro to Mongolia and China to the Czech Republic.

Our UK Junior Summer Camps are accredited by the British Council.

Language Programme:

Students study for 20 lessons per week in international classes of up to 15 students. Each lesson lasts for 50 minutes. On their first day students take a test to ensure they are placed in an appropriate level. There are six levels from beginner to advanced.

On arrival students will also receive a welcome pack including information about the course and a free student bag.

Students will have a progress test in class every two weeks and meet individually with their teacher to review their progress.

At the end of the course students will receive a certificate as a record of their English language studies.

The Teachers:

All our teachers are well-educated with recognised TEFL certificates, and are extensively briefed on the particular needs of young learners. The language is brought to life through a vibrant and functional approach. In addition to formal language skills training, lessons include project work, games and use of a wide variety of modern English language teaching resources.
