The Study Year Abroad course provides an excellent opportunity for long-term students to achieve a high level of English, combined with a good knowledge of British culture, at an affordable price

Study Year Abroad courses offer a core course of 20 lessons per week in morning courses, for 6 or 9 months. Each lesson lasts for 50 minutes, and there is a maximum of 12 students per class. You can also upgrade their morning classes to full-day programs, by choosing one of our optional afternoon modules.

The following study options are available:


• 20 lessons per week of General English, in morning classes
• 20 lessons per week of Examination Preparation, in morning classes
• 8 afternoon lessons per week (upgrade) in one of the following:
  
  Further General English studies
  English for Business
  English for Tourism
  Extra examination practice
  Study skills for IELTS

As part of the Study Year Abroad program, you can choose to take a two-four week internship in a British company or volunteer organization.

As part of the learning experience, we place Study Year Abroad students in carefully selected English-speaking homes. We offer specially discounted rates for long stay students in shared or single rooms, with breakfast and evening meals. (The School has a policy of only offering shared rooms to students with different first languages.)
