English Language School in Eastbourne is a part of one of the largest and most successful English language training organisations based in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 200 staff. Every year an average of 10,000 students, from over 70 different countries choose the Consortium English Language Schools in England for their English language learning needs.
On average we have approximately 140 students every week, with a maximum of around 250 in the summer months. In 2008 we welcomed students from nearly 50 different countries, helping to create a lively, international atmosphere.
 The age range of our students in Eastbourne is from 14 years to 82 years of age. Students aged 14 and 15 are supervised during class time at school, and there are guidelines for our staff and our homestay providers to follow.
Eastbourne is a busy, lively town on the South coast of England. The town is clean, safe and affluent and is beautifully situated on the South Downs. Eastbourne is also renowned for being the sunniest place on the South Coast. The local countryside includes such delights as:

Despite this idyllic setting, Eastbourne is just 90 minutes (100km) from London and half an hour from Brighton by train. The town has recently benefited from a number of new developments including a new marina - one of the largest in Europe - and a large shopping centre.
