Language School in Lausanne:
Accommodations.
In addition to different accommodation options, we also offer accommodation in our Boarding School. Students of all ages will find a warm family-like environment. They will live in cosmopolitan surroundings which favour cultural exchange. When necessary they can have extra tuition and/or personal assistance.
Boarding School
The Boarding School for 40 young men and women (at least 15 years old) is the ideal complement to your courses:
Housing. Spacious and comfortable rooms with a magnificient view of Lake Geneva, the Alps and the Jura mountain range. Two options are available: private room or double room. Boarding fees include bed linen, bath towels, daily room cleaning, weekly laundry and ironing services.
Meals. Four meals a day: buffet breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. Students collaborate in the selection of the menus through periodic meetings with the Chef.
Studies. Supervised studies are organized for the students. According to their level of maturity, students may also work individually in their rooms wile still benefiting from the follow up and support of the educational team.
Sports. Boarding school students have the opportunity to participate in athletic activities after their classes. They are able to choose from a wide selection of sporting activities with a qualified instructor. Among the options are: tennis, swimming, weight training, squash, badminton, ice-skating, water skiing, sailing, windserfing, and horseback riding.
Excursions and Ski week-ends. Hikes and excursions are regularly organized throughout the academic year. In winter, we organize ski weekends at some of the most famous resorts: Zernatt, Gstaad, Verbier, Montana, etc. Study trips of two or three days are offered during school breaks (Paris, Rome, Venice, Vienna, amongst others).
Insurance. Accident insurance is also included in the fees; it's a 24-hour coverage evereywhere, even during holidays abroad.
Housing alternatives
The school makes available a list of housing alternatives situated in and
around Lausanne, such as studio appartments and pensions. There are
also families which house students on a medium and long-term basis.
The addresses are communicated upon request. The school furnishes the
names of the establishments and it is up to the students to follow
through. In certain cases, however, the school may directly contact the
services concerned.
