DELE Preparation Courses in Spain:

DELE stands for Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, or "Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma". It is the only certificate for non-native Spanish speakers that is officially recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. This diploma is of great international value for those who are going to study at a Spanish University and who want to work, or are going to work in a Spanish speaking environment. We advise everyone taking a long term Spanish course to take the DELE examination.

You can follow the DELE preparation courses for the Certificado Inicial (CIE), Diploma intermedio (DIE) and the most advanced Diploma Superior (DSE). Until now a very high percentage of our students have succeeded.

The place and the dates of the DELE preparation courses are coordinated with the examination dates established by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. Because of the practical advantages most students take the DELE examination in Spain, although it is also possible to take the DELE exam outside Spain.

The examination fees are set each year by the Ministry, Instituto Cervantes and each examination centre. The deadline for enrolment is usually one month before the examination date. Students who wish to enroll for the DELE examination can contact the Spanish Embassy, Consulate, Instituto Cervantes or our office.

DELE preparation courses with 20 lessons a week are offered in May, August and November for 2, 3 or 4 weeks before examination date.

• C.I.E. Certificado Inicial de Español:
  Spanish Language School in Valencia offers CIE preparation course for 2 weeks. Maximum of 16 students per group. Level of Spanish: B1 (basic).


• D.I.E. Diploma Intermedio de Español:
  These DELE praparation courses are offered for 2, 3 or 4 weeks. Maximum of 16 students per group. Level of Spanish: B2 (intermediate).


• D.S.E. Diploma Superior de Español
  DSE preparation courses are offered for 2, 3 or 4 weeks. Maximum of 12 students per group. Level of Spanish: C1 (advanced).

Students at our Spanish language school learn Spanish as they learned their native language - through practice and continuous communication.
