Activities
The activities take place on weekdays and the excursions at the weekends, all organized by the teachers.
The time schedule of the weekly activities is indicated on the notice board, located in each school. You can participate in excursions to towns and places of interest in the vicinity. Excursions depend very much on the number of participants, and cost approximately 8 - 16 Euros per person.
To get to know Salamanca, in your first day,
you will have a free guided city walking orientation.
Activities
- A welcome dinner with a party afterwards, on every official starting date for beginners. If you do not select a beginner starting date, you may participate in the first welcome dinner following your arrival.
- Guided tour of the city in the first course week.
- From Monday to Friday 1 extra hour of classes on special subjects of cultural interest.
- Singing classes where the students learns traditional Spanish songs.
- Spanish dance lessons, such as Sevillanas, the Charro and the Paso Doble.
- Watching the video or television at school; selection of Hispanic international films (dubbed in Spanish).
- Intercambios: you can ask the secretary of the school for an "intercambio", a direct exchange of language and culture between you and the Spanish speaking counterpart.
- Board games such as chess, as well as dominoes, cards and cross-word puzzles, etc. are available in "el salón" at each school that you can use in your free time.
- There is a piano in the salón of the school in Salamanca.
