Activities


Apart from learning the language, there is so much to see and to do here in Andalusia. To give our students the possibility to see more of Spain and to get to know Spanish life and culture Málaga Plus Spanish Language School organizes a whole range of activities.

Sports

    Málaga has a lot to offer the student who is interested in sports. As Malaga is located on the Costal-del-Sol you may choose from a number of water and beach activities, as well as Tennis, squash and golf. Information about these activities is available at the reception desk upon request.

    The famous ´Parque Montes de Málaga´ is a beautiful and well-known area for hiking, exploring on a rented mountain-bike, or on horseback.

    To give our students an unforgettable and incredible view of the coast and the city, we offer a free guided tour to the beautiful mountains of Málaga.

Welcome Party

    Upon completion of the first day of class, we invite the students to a welcome party at our school bar "La Tortuga" which is located directly on the beachwalk (Paseo Marítimo).

    Here our students have the opportunity to meet with fellow students and teachers from Malaga Plus. "La Tortuga" can be a good place to practise spanish outside of the classroom.

    Malaga Plus Spanish Language School also organises an ´Intercambio´ (exchange program), which is another way to meet and practise spanish with a person from Málaga. We have a list of Spanish students who are interested in practising a foreign language and helping our students improve their levels of conversation.

    Every week we offer various activities which reflect local Spanish culture. You will also learn to dance the famous and classical Flamenco (´Sevillanas´) and Salsa directly at our school with our teacher Maria José.

    Spanish food can be explored in a Paella cooking lesson with our famous in-house cook ´Luis´ or on our ´Tapas-Tour´ in Málaga city. The ´Tapas-Tour´ is a guided tour to one of the many popular and typical Spanish tapas bars. You will enjoy and learn the many tastes of Spanish tapas and share in what is a large part of Spanish Culture. A specialty is the "Vino de Malaga" (Muscatel port whine) which we will taste in one of the bodegas of Malaga.

Alhambra Boats Sevilla


Excursions

    Every weekend we offer excursions to different cities in Andalusia. These excursions are a good opportunity for students who wish to explore different cities within Spain and see the many beautiful and famous monuments.

    These excursions are day trips and are offered for a reasonable price ranging from 12 - 25 Euro.

    On Saturday we visit the beautiful Alhambra in Granada; or the famous capital of Andalucia - Seville; or the Mezquita in Cordoba.

    Sunday, take advantage of one of our excursions to either: the countryside of Andalusia where we visit a typical white Spanish village; or join us by the beautiful lakeside in el Chorro; or the famous beaches of Nerja.

    Besides the excursions and activities we offer, our helpful and friendly reception staff can provide you with many suggestions to explore Málaga and Andalucía on your own!
