The Mediterranean diet is well known for its healthy and appetising ingredients, recipes and fragrances. The many varied dishes found in tapas bars and restaurants throughout Andalucia form a part of this famous and classic style of cooking. You can learn how to prepare and cook some of these dishes and impress your friends back home.

This programme is based on the standard Intensive course of Spanish with additional cookery lessons and other activities associated with the world of gastronomy.

Sample Program

You take 4 lessons per day of General Spanish and then on 2 afternoons per week you learn to prepare and cook a complete 3-course Spanish menu. In addition to the cookery lessons there are talks on wine or gastronomy and local visits related to these themes.

The program is rounded off with a lunch at the famous La Consula cookery school. If you love food and cookery this is the programme for you - ¡buen provecho!
