Spanish Language School in Málaga:
Activities
The School organizes parties, excursions, and all sorts of out-of-school activities and social events. These activities offer the student an excellent opportunity to practice Spanish, to get to know fellow students and members of the staff, to utterly enjoy a Spanish evening around a drink or a "paella" in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
Golf
While our students come primarily to learn Spanish, many are also sports enthusiasts. Amongst a wide range of sports available in the Malaga area, golf is without doubt the most popular and important.
For this reason the School has become a share-holder in Anoreta Golf, an 18-hole championship course located 15 minutes drive from the school.
The course, designed by José Maria Cañizares, is challenging, and is spectacularly located with stunning sea views. All the facilities of a top class course are available: caddies, golf carts, hire of clubs, driving range, etc.
In addition to the golf course, Añoreta has tennis courts, swimming pool, a clubhouse bar and an excellent restaurant.
There is also a tasteful development of luxury apartments and houses which gives you the chance to stay for a weekend or even to buy yourself a holiday or retirement house.
If you are a beginner or an experienced player and would like to play or learn about golf during your stay at our School, we believe that we can offer some of the best facilities at the best prices available.
Morocco
As part of our activities program we offer our students the opportunity to visit another continent - Africa - during their stay with us!
Our regular weekend excursions to Morocco usually take place every 4 weeks and provide the chance to see at first hand a little of the modern-day culture that in the past had such an influence in forming the traditions, way of life and architectural heritage that we see in Andalucí and Málaga today.
Some passport holders need visas to visit Morocco. Also students who need visas to study in Spain might need multi-entry visas if they wont to visit Morocco. We recommend you check this information before you leave your contry.

Social Program
In addition to studying Spanish you will want to learn about Spain, see the Andalusian countryside, eat Spanish food, meet Spanish people and visit the great cities.
We will help you to do all these and more! We organise visits to Córdoba, Granada, Sevilla and Ronda, to Nerja and Frigiliana (pueblos blancos); we prepare paella together in the mountains near El Chorro; we teach you Flamenco and how to cook Gazpacho and Tortilla; we bring musicians and dancers to the school for "fiestas" and generally help you to meet people, make friends and enjoy your stay in Máaga.
However, don't forget that the homework always needs to be done!

Sports
The Mediterranean climate makes Málaga, and Andalucía in general, the perfect destination for sports enthusiasts. Most sports are available. Here are some examples:
- Tennis: Courts are available a few minutes walk from the school.
- Horse-riding: Andalucía is famous for its full-bloodied horses and there are stables a few minutes taxi ride from the school.
- Fitness Training: the School has arrangements with several gymnasiums which offer group fitness training, weights rooms, squash, sauna, etc.
- Skiing: From December to May it is usually possible to ski in the Sierra Nevada, about 2 hours from Málaga.
- Hang-gliding: For the more adventurous (mad!) there are opportunities for hang-gliding in the mountains about 1 hour's drive from Málaga.
