Comfortable accommodation is an essential part of your study abroad trip. That is why we attach so much importance to the quality of our accommodation. We understand that something as simple as a broken shower can ruin an otherwise perfect day, while it distracts you from what you are here to do - learn Spanish.

Experience life in a Spanish speaking family. Home stay offers you a unique opportunity to experience Spanish life while living in the home of a local Spanish speaking family. You'll speak Spanish all day long, out of necessity and fun and interest in the family life you see unfolding around you. Accommodation in a host family allows you to get the most out of your language course as it gives you a privileged view of daily life in another culture.

About homestay:

• Your host "family" may be a family with parents and children or a single parent who takes in students because he or she enjoys the company. You wouldn't be the first to go out on the town together, or to keep in contact with your family after your return home.
• You can choose from a room with breakfast, half-board (breakfast and you can choose between a cooked meal in the afternoon at about two o'clock or light dinner at ten) or full-board (breakfast and two meals).
• You'll eat at local hours - usually later you may be accustomed to- and you'll eat local foods, although the family will take your preferences into account as much as possible.
• You will be given your own keys, so you can come and go as you please. You will be able to receive phone calls at the family home.

Enjoy your independence and international friends. You can choose to share a student flat with four or five students. In a student flat you'll prepare your own meals and interact with students of all ages and backgrounds. We recommend you make a pact about speaking Spanish in the apartment; other shared languages often take students away from Spanish language practice.

About shared student flats:

• Although the student flats are not very luxurious, they include all the basic facilities: a bed, table or desk, chair and a wardrobe.
• Each student flat has a living room with TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and an iron.
• No telephones are available in student flats; we suggest you use public telephones or local calling centres.
• You share the kitchen and the bathroom and, together, keep the house clean. Shared areas are professionally cleaned once a week.

Premium shared student flats:

• Our Premium shared apartments offer all of the facilities of our standard shared apartments, plus ADSL or WIFI, daily bedroom cleaning and a maximum of 4 students sharing the apartment. You'll share a bath and full equipped kitchen with your flatmates, and can choose a single or double room.

If you are looking for an inviting and well-equipped stay just a quick walk from your classroom, our student residences may be the ideal accommodation for you. Student Residences have a youthful, international feel and offer you all you'll need in one building: laundry facilities, TV, prepared meals or shared do-it-yourself kitchens, and areas for studying and socializing.

All of our residences offer individual, double and triple rooms, shared TV, shared living/dining rooms and washing machines. Bed linens are provided; we suggest that you bring your own towels, for maximum comfort.

Student residences are very similar to a shared apartment with the difference that you don't have to cook your own meals. In this type of residences you will share with students from all over the world, but not necessarily of don Quijote, which makes this option very interesting. We offer you half board or full board.

Family residences are big flats run by a family, with an average of 5-6 rooms, you may have meals together with the family or in a separate dining room and you can choose to have half board or full board.

These one or two bedroom apartments offer all of the facilities and features of our shared premium apartments. However, you'll enjoy the luxury and independence of living in your own private apartment, without having to share any of the facilities with other students.

Of course, you also have the option of staying in a local hotel. Contact us in advance and we will be happy to arrange accommodation for you in one of our recommended local hotels.

Although Premium accommodation has been designed with our Platinum Spanish students in mind, it is available to all our students in Madrid.
