Accommodations

Our 2 residences offer the students a pleasant stay in rooms with bathroom at a reasonable price. Both residences also offer the same common premises and services such as: a kitchen for small meals, a laundry and ironing room and a living room. In both residences there are single and double rooms and each has a maximum capacity of 20 students which guarantees a pleasant atmosphere among all residents of all nationalities. We reserve 2 or 3 beds in each residence for Spanish students of Las Palmas University in order to facilitate contact with Spanish students.



The Best Residence.

The Plus Residence:

It was built in 1992 and is only 30 m. away from the school. It offers single and double rooms with private bathroom. It has a roof-top terrace with a TV set, VCR and a radio, serving as a living room for the students. There is also a kitchen to be used by the residents.

The Best Residence:

The Residence is in a 10 minutes walk from the school along the beach promenade. It was built in 1997 and is a 6-storey building with lift and big, sound-proof windows. Each room has a safety deposit box and a TV set with several channels in Spanish and other languages (satellite connexion). The Best Residence is specially prepared for handicapped persons in wheelchairs, so they can move about the residence without any impediments.

General lodging conditions:

1. Laundering (not ironing) of personal clothing is included in the lodging price. Bed sheets and towels are provided. Rooms are cleaned twice a week.
2. Students receive breakfast only on class days (self service) as well as a daily lunch at the school's restaurant (school building). Dinner instead of lunch will be served on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
3. Our former students or those persons recommended by them may as well book a room without participating in the lessons. Students can be accompanied by and share a room with a person not participating in the course. We provide babysitting service for accompanying children.
4. Smoking is not allowed in double rooms unless both students are smokers.
5. Only persons under 30 years can book a bed in a double room.
6. In long bookings, the student may make any change he wishes for the following month, even cancel the rest of the lodging, if he gives notice 15 days before starting a new calendar month.
7. From any money the school refunds, 20% will be deducted for administrative expenses.
8. The student pays lodging for full weeks, from Saturday 12 a.m. to Saturday 10 a.m.
