La Herradura is a small beautiful fishing village overlooking the Mediterrean Sea where you can take Spanish classes, sit on the beach, practice all kinds of sport and join one of the activities offered by the school. The complete Spanish immersion is provided by the combination of courses: Spanish + Sport, the enormous offer of extracurricular activities in the afternoon and at weekends, accompanied by our teachers or local guides.

La Herradura, situated in a beautiful large bay, is a typical Andalucian village of "La Costa Tropical" 60 km from Granada and Málaga. It has a population of 4.000 inhabitants in winter and up to 15.000 throughout the rest of the year. The tourism is 90% Spanish helping to stimulate and encourage students in learning Spanish language and culture.
The sub tropical climate yields an abundance of chirimoyas, avocados,and mangos and allows the practise of the numerous sports offered, possible throughout the whole year. 3 km from the village one can find the local marina, Marina del Este with shops galleries and restaurants.
The School is situated in the center of the village and only 100m from the beach. There are six large classrooms, a recreation room with video, television, library, minibar, also a computer room with access to the internet. All our teachers are graduated in the study of the Spanish laguage and are specialists in teaching foreigners. Their large experience, kindness, motivation and confidence makes learning a real pleasure.
We use a communicative method allowing the student to feel confident in all situations, by emphasizing the use of practical application. Your needs and requirments are determined, so that whichever teaching method is applied, learning can be facillitated.
The School also offers an exchange with Spanish students in order to practice and learn more about the culture, politics and lifestyle. The library offers you the posibility to do your home work, read a book or use the computer, in which you can find programs which will help you to encourage your Spanish knowledge.
Spanish Language courses available: Spanish for General Purposes: intensive and superintensive courses; individual Spanish language training; Spanish for Commerce/Business; Spanish and Hispanic Studies; DELE exam preparation; Learning and Leisure course; a special course for children (8 to 15 years old); The Third Age course.
The School also offers Spanish plus Sport and Special Activity courses: Spanish and Diving; Spanish and Tennis; Spanish and Sailing or Catamaran; Spanish and Paragliding; Spanish and Dance; Spanish and Golf; Spanish and Horseriding.
