Spanish Language Schools in Spain
Learn Spanish and Have Fun!
Granada is a university town with 60,000 students and is the intellectual centre of Andalusia. Its rich culture and lively nightlife make it the ideal place for both studying and having a holiday.
The School
The Spanish Language School in Granada, with its modern classrooms and pleasant Andalusian patio, is situated in a quiet location just ten minutes away from the city center. Since 1986, the school has provided a variety of intensive Spanish language courses to students from all over the world. The language courses are always complemented by an extensive cultural program.
Our goal is to create a lively and stimulating relationship between teachers and students. We encourage students to talk and interact both, inside and outside the classroom and to have a good time in general. This atmosphere of warmth and sharing ensures rapid progress in a short time.
Our Teachers
Our teachers have been selected for their professional qualifications in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and have extensive teaching experience. All are native speakers of Spanish.
What Makes The School Different
Our school differs from other schools in that it is organized as a cooperative. Both the choice of teaching method, as well as the subject matter of the classes, reflect the progressive and critical focus of the courses.
All decisions regarding the course outline are made by the entire teaching team. Communicative methods and audiovisual materials are used to teach the language. In the conversation classes, beginners learn Spanish for everyday situations.
In the more advanced courses, students become involved in selecting topics of discussion according to their interests. Traditional Spain in transition, the contradictory reality of modern Spain, socio-political and cultural developments are some examples of possible themes.
We discuss a wide range of topics from Arab history, the Spanish Civil War and the Franco-dictatorship to the theatre of Lorca, the culture of Flamenco or the feminist movement in Spain, always paying special attention to the particular aspects of Andalusia.
