Learn Spanish in Alicante, Spain!

Alicante is a maritime Mediterranean city, with its beautiful beaches, its walk along the coast, its restaurants, cafes and dance clubs, its nautical club and its harbour, from which boats leave for the island of Tabarca - a surfer's paradise. Its mild climate all year round make it one of Spain's most important tourist areas.

Alicante

Alicante is dominated by the two castles of Santa Barbara and San Fernando. From the top of their rocky peaks, they seem to keep an eye on the city, whose houses are spread over the hills, gently sloping towards the sea, the harbour, the beaches and the coves: San Juan, the Albufereta, Coco, Postiguet and Saladar beach to the south.

Alicante offers you both the hubbub of the coast as well as the calm of the inland countryside. The city is surrounded by beaches as well as by many first class tourist centres such as Benidorm, Santa Pola or Torrevieja. We should not forget the smaller villages in the region of La Marina with towns like Benissa, Javea, Denia or the white Altea. Castles, fortresses and towns like Elche and Orihuela embellish the fertile inland, full of orange and lemon groves.

The Spanish Language School in Alicante occupies the first floor of a restored historical building, situated right in the city centre near the corner of the Alfonso X el Sabio Street, between the Central Marketplace and the city's Principal Theatre.

The School in Alicante offers different Spanish courses and an active and dynamic method of teaching Spanish, which is constantly revised and adapted to the new systems, techniques and teaching methods, as well as to the new circumstances in the present world. Our Spanish study program is structured into eight levels of Spanish. Each level of Spanish is a course within itself, divided into modules and units. These units include: functional, grammatical and lexical sections, with tasks and exercises designed to develop comprehension, speaking and writing skills, as well as pronunciation and intonation.

The language learning consists not only of learning a series of structures and words, but also of seeing life with its speakers' eyes. The school offers different cultural, social and sport activities.
