Standard English Language (ESL) Course

Features:
The standard course consists of 20 lessons per week. Classes are held from 08h30 to 12h30, with the first two lessons being Grammar training and the second two lessons being Practical English, with exercises on students reading, writing and conversational skills.

Standard Plus English (ESL) Course

Features:
The normal Standard Course plus one private lesson per day. During this lesson the student receives one-to-one tuition. The teacher concentrates on the student's specific needs.

Intensive English

Features:
The Intensive Course consists of the Standard English Course plus two lessons per day of General English in the afternoon. During these lessons practical, everyday situations in English are taught. The course is recognised by the German Study Leave Act, "Bildungsurlaub".

Intensive English Plus

This course consists of the normal Intensive Course plus an extra lesson of one-to-one tuition. This course is specially designed for students who wish to improve their English over a short period of time.

Cambridge / LCCI Courses

Features:
Our Cambridge Preparation course consists of 11 weeks of English training with 4 lessons of the General English in the morning and 2 hours preparation for your specific examination (First Certificate,Advanced Certificate and English for Proficiency) in the afternoon. Examinations are held during the twelfth week (the second week of June and the second week of December).

Our LCCI course prepares you for the examinations of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examination Board. It is an eight week course with 20 lessons of General English in the morning and 10 lessons of specific Business English in the afternoon. Examinations can be held on request and at our premises. The School is a recognised examination centre for the LCCI.

Business English

Features:
The Business English Course consists of the standard 2 lessons of Theory, followed by 2 lessons of Practical. In the afternoon students would concentrate on Business English for another 2 lessons. During this time, preparation can be done for the LCCI examinations, which is an 8 week course.

Business English at our School covers a wide variety of different business subjects, ranging from banking, international conferences and live interviews. Students are asked to supply the School with information on their occupation and private interests before arrival in South Africa. This gives our teachers the opportunity to adapt a program to the specific needs of the individual student.

Private Tuition

Features:
Although the basic course structure is followed with students who prefer private tuition, the teachers are very flexible and could do some research on specific subjects in which the student is interested.
