 Our Volunteer Plus Program is especially suited for professionals with a stronger commitment (doctors, dentists, computer programmers, marketing professionals, teachers, carpenters, tailors, hairdressers, gardeners, mechanical, electricians, etc.) interested in supporting one of our projects by working a longer period of time. Most participants have studied some Spanish before and/or have basic communication skills before.
In contrast with the Standard Volunteer Program, there are different projects available in the Volunteer Plus Program where volunteers participate a longer period of time. During this prolonged working commitment, a more substantial patronage can be offered. A day trip to the famous lost Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu is included.
A minimum of 16 weeks is necessary to participate in the Volunteer Plus Program. Initially, students participate in a four week Spanish Program. Part of the Spanish Program can be completed in Sacred Valley and/or Manu. After these four weeks, volunteers move into the luxurious student flats! While volunteering, different activities (meetings, workshops, extra Spanish Classes, hikes in Cusco's outskirts) will be organized for the volunteers. Volunteers can count on the continuous support of our Volunteer Coordinator, who will have at least one personal interview with each volunteer and take him/her to the project the first day of work.
Volunteer Plus Program in Cuzco includes:
- Spanish Course and Accommodation
- Minimum commitment of 16 weeks
- All levels
- Maximum 6 people per group (Spanish)
- Maximum 3 volunteers per project
- Begin any Monday of the year
- A day trip to the famous lost Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu
