Homestay

Half board (all meals except lunch on school days) or full board (all meals, everyday) with local families is arranged for students studying at the school. Homes are carefully selected to ensure the best for your comfort and opportunity to practise your English. Each student has their own room. Host families provide food, spare linen (towels and sheets), washing and ironing facilities, and all the usual comforts of a western style home.

The School will arrange other forms of accommodation (bed and breakfast, motels, hotels) for students, if requested.

Apartments for Rent (limited availability)

Fully furnished, inner city apartments, 20 minutes bus ride to school.

NZ $220 per week - Studio unit - bedsitting room, with kitchen and bathroom.

NZ $280 per week - One bedroom plus lounge, bathroom and kitchen.

From NZ $320 per week - Two bedrooms plus lounge, bathroom and kitchen.

+plus booking fee and refundable bond (prices subject to change).

You should allow about NZ$15-$20 per week for bus transport to get to and from school. Some students choose to bike to school. Each student is provided with a map of Christchurch and a local information brochure.
