Work Experience Program in Auckland, New Zealand
8 weeks full time English plus 4 weeks Work Experience.
ANIMAL CARE: (at the SPCA in Auckland- Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals):
Clerical assistance in Animal Village;
maintenance and cleaning of the premises and animals;
feeding abandoned animals;
exercise programme;
medical assistance and rehabilitation;
promoting public awareness;
working with community groups;
rehabilitation of injured birds.
Length of course: 12 weeks
Course starts: Every Monday of the year: Animal Care in Auckland
Fee includes: 8 weeks of English-200 hours; English Attendance Certificate and Progress Report; 4 weeks Volunteer Work Experience Mondays - Fridays (40 hours a week); Work Experience Certificate. (Course content, hours worked, supervisor appraisal).
Fee does not include: Lunches, daily transport
Entry Requirements: Low Intermediate+
