club for socialising in the

rugby practises a week, in the
evenings. A rugby game on Saturdays,
if you are selected for a team

Rifles Rugby Club (www.aucklandrugby.co.nz).
2,500 members (some members
also play badminton, squash,
netball and lacrosse - you are
welcome to join in these games
as well). There is a wide range
of rugby teams, from beginners
to advanced, men’s and
women’s. Most of New Zealand’s
Women’s Rugby Team has
come from this club. The club
rooms are open Monday-Friday
4.00 pm-midnight and Saturday
4.00pm-1.00am. There are 3 bars
and a casino. |
| Christchurch: |
Sydenham
Rugby Club. 1,300 members. The
club has a men’s team at
all levels and two women’s
teams. The club rooms are open
Monday-Friday 9.00am-11.00pm
and on Saturday from 6.00pm-midnight.
There are 2 bars, a restaurant
and a
squash court. |
