La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur, was founded the 3rd of May 1535 by Hernan Cortés. In 1596, Sebastian Vizcaino gave it the name of "La Paz" (the peace).
Nowadays, La Paz is a charming, lovely and peaceful city of 160'000 inhabitants. The climate is delightful. A beautiful place for vacation and, of course, to learn Spanish.
The School is a medium size school dedicated to providing personal attention to its students. All our teachers have a University background and are experienced teaching Spanish to foreigners. The school is located in a nice and cozy Mexican style house, just 3 minutes walking distance from the bay. Our school is often described by our students as serious, friendly with a homelike atmosphere.
We provide intensive Spanish total immersion courses. We have a very complete and original curriculum, taught by professional and experienced teachers, that includes conversation, vocabulary, grammar and various video/audio support material. We also also offer medical Spanish classes, Spanish for business and Spanish for travelers classes.
Fieldtrips, traditional fiestas, cultural events and, sometimes, excursions are also part of our curriculum and school activities.
