English Language School in Valletta, Malta:
Activities.
We aim to take full advantage of our wonderful location to extend your English learning experience out of the classroom and into the city itself. In addition to the normal, classroom-based course timetable students are also offered the opportunity to participate in other aspects of the social and cultural life of the islands. Valletta is a small city and all of its places of interest are within easy walking distance of the school. We see our city as a unique and accessible language-learning resource as well as providing a central location from which to explore the islands' many other attractions.
Social program:
We try to ensure that your stay in Malta is as interesting as possible and that you leave the islands with a real insight into its history, culture and traditions as well as having plenty of opportunity to soak up the sun and relax.
In addition to the range of excursions that can be booked separately once you arrive in Malta such as trips to Gozo, to Comino, beach parties, scuba-diving, jeep safaris and visits to places of interest we also include a variety of school and Valletta based optional activities in the price of your course. Many of these activities are organised by the Director of Studies and include informative videos and discussions in English and visits to places in and around Valletta with your teacher once your lessons are over.
We like to ensure that your social program includes activities that will help you use your English in a wide variety of situations. We also offer a social programme that takes advantage of the school's location in Valletta that includes visits to the theatre and to art galleries and exhibitions for those of you who are interested in the cultural life of the islands.
Leisure and sports activities:
When English classes are over you may want to relax and take advantage of the many leisure and sports activities available in Malta. Apart from golf, tennis, squash, bowling, ice-skating and horse-riding it is now possible to participate in a full range of adventure sports in Malta such as paragliding, rock climbing, abseiling and skydiving for the more adventurous.
