L'Approdo di mami has three floors. One side of the ground floor was originally used as a storage for farming tools and a barn for cows, bulls, and horses. At the centre there was a baking room with a wood-burning oven where delicious meals and breads were made by skilled hands. On the other side was a warehouse that was used to make and store homemade wine, olive oil, tomato sauce and many other preserved foods to fulfil the family's needs.

A wide stair case next to the baking room lead to the main floor that used to be the family's residential space with many rooms of different size and shape. These rooms were the heart of the house. Coloured tiles lined up the walls all the way to the high, rounded ceiling with sparkles of reflections.

Above the main floor, L'Approdo di mami has two attic rooms, one overlooking the hills of Sorrento and the other with a view of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. From the windows of these two rooms, you may gaze undisturbed at your favourite stars, or watch the white sails moving in the blue water.

Breakfast. Every morning, the sunrise enters our beautiful, rustic kitchen putting a smile on your face so you can start another day full of exceptional meals prepared with a mother's love and an expert's knowledge of ingredients. The best Italian Cappuccino and Neapolitan espresso, Homemade brioches with fruit marmalade on the side, fresh squeezed orange juice, are just few of our secrets to make your new day a better day.

Dinner Time
During the winter season, our central dining room is on the veranda, a large enclosed gazebo-like structure. It is an elegant yet intimate location where dinnertime together becomes an opportunity to meet others and enjoy yourselves, gaining a more complete understanding of the true Italian family culture. In summer, dining takes place on the patio. It is an ideal place to feel the warm breeze and take in the natural fragrances, in addition to enjoying the view of our lush green garden.

The meals are daily planned and every single course is prepared and handled with skill and passion by the chef and it's students. The dinner is served in a friendly and informal way by the family members which background brag a professional waiting staff experience.

The dishes we prepare have all the freshness and rich flavours of natural and seasonal ingredients. We guarantee to our clients a deliciously wholesome meal that doesn't just taste better - but is better.

Our Chef, with thirty years of experience, knows what a difference in quality it makes to meals which are made with natural products and other fresh ingredients.

A typical evening starts with appetizer, a main course second course and a delicious pastry, accompanied by a genuine home made red wine.

Guests are required to order before 12.00, to permit the kitchen staff to organise the evening meals.
