Our way of cooking has evolved over the centuries. The south of Italy has always been a Mediterranean base through which many civilizations have passed, giving to our land and likewise to our plates a touch of their traditions.

The Italian Cooking School is located just in five minutes’ walking distance from downtown Sorrento, one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. The Italian Cooking School in Sorrento was created by an old-fashioned Italian family born and raised among the Italian culinary arts, who decided to transfer all their professional knowledge to the creation of Camilla Longo's kitchen and the homemade Italian gourmet food school.
There are many ways to see the South of Italy. Our Italian Cooking School in Sorrento and our lead native Italian chef Biagio will help you to see this special world through the lens of its food, its artisans, and its culinary traditions. More then ever we strongly believe in the importance of serving simple, healthy meals for you and/or your family – meals prepared with love and passion just as our Italian ancestors made them.
It’s on this principle that our cooking classes are based, focusing all our attention on following the traditional and straight forward Italian style to prepare various meals.
Our cooking school is surrounded by three thousand square meters of fertile land. This idyllic garden permits us to carry out different types of typical Mediterranean agricultural practices, from which we are able to produce a special kind of vegetable with incomparable tastes, colors, and smells.
The vegetables are harvested just before the preparation of the meal, putting into practice our belief in the importance of raw materials for the preparation of various traditional dishes.
Those interested can enroll in special courses to learn how to prepare the land, sow the seeds, follow the growth of the plant until it is ripe and ready to be picked.
All of our products are completely natural and are made without the use of artificial and chemical additives. We put primary importance in the quality of the foods we create here, and hope to ignite within our students the same passion we have for a healthy and balanced way of eating, the way people here have lived for centuries.
Our Italian Cooking Courses range from 1 day to 6 months in length. All classes are taught in English and Italian. You may combine cooking classes with Italian language learning at the Italian Language School or book our special Wedding package or the Neapolitan Food and Wine Tour
