Whatever roads you travel around Puglia, you'll see magnificent olive trees and dry stone walls flanking some of the most beautiful and unspoilt beaches and cliffs in Italy, through ancient peasant villages, where the village square is still where the inhabitants meet. You'll discover the architectural marvels of the local Baroque style and stay in splendid Masserie, a sort of fortified farm, fully and stylishly refurbished. An ancient land, traversed by great and historic cultural traditions. You'll also be able to enjoy some of the tastiest and best cuisine in the country, accompanied by the fine wines which the region has been producing for some time.
Each student will be given a guide with useful addresses for their stay such as: how to get to the nearest beaches, good places to eat and drink, the opening times of shops, banks and post offices as well as recommended tourist and wine & food itineraries.
