Italian Language School in Lucca:

Beginners begin classes on scheduled dates;
intermediate and advanced students can start classes any Monday.

    We also offer long-term programs. You may register for as many 4-week sessions as you wish. There is a 10% discount on the tuition fee for the third, fourth, etc. sessions.

* Lunch with teacher is included in the course of 8 hours per day.

Individual Tutor Course at the Teacher's Home

    Starting date every working day of the year. Single room and halfboard (breakfast and lunch) with the teacher's family, participation in daily family life, and activities on the weekend are included.

    One week (35 hours, lunch included) 1,390.00; two weeks (70 hours, lunch included) 2,900.00.

Teacher Training Course

    2 weeks program with lectures and workshops plus teaching practice. First week: 30 hours (6 hours of theoretical lectures and workshops from 9 AM till 1:00 PM and 2 PM and 4 PM. Second week: 20 hours (4 hours of teaching practice and peer-teaching with students of Italian - from 9 AM to 1 PM)

    Starting dates: March 31 and July 7

    Tuition fee: one week: 280 Euros; two weeks: 380 Euros

Pane, vino e lingua (Bread, wine and language)

    Italian language tuition in the morning combined with cooking courses,wine tastings and guided visits in the wine area surrounding Florence.

    Starting dates: March 17; May 12; June 3; July 14; September 15; October 6.

    One week (with Italian course) - 585.00
    Two weeks (with Italian course) - 990.00
    One week (without Italian course) - 410.00
    Two weeks (without Italian course) - 735.00

Italian plus Internship

    The School offers the opportunity of integrating the study of the Italian language with an unpaid period of practice in an Italian company or organization. Placements are possible in different fields of activities such as: tourism, trade, fashion, design, information and welfare services.

    An Internship advisor will provide counselling and support before and during the program. The internship will start after the student has completed an Italian language course reaching at least the intermediate level (minimum language study for all levels - 4 weeks).

    On request the School will provide accommodation for the entire duration of both course and internship.

    The applications, together with a C.V. and 3 passport photos, should be submitted not later than 2 months before the requested starting date. Language course starting dates - see above.

    Internship Placement Fees:
    in addition to the Italian language course fee.
