Italian Language Department

A rapid and precise learning of the Italian language is the goal of our courses, and likewise we encourage our students to constantly practice the use of the language, both in and outside of the classroom, during the extra-curricular activities to motivate their interest in learning Italian language through interaction. Foreign Languages Department

To encourage interaction and cultural exchange between Italian and foreign students, Florence Academy organizes foreign language courses for Italians and international students interested in learning another foreign language: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.

Music Department

Created for the foreign students, the activities of the Music Department are enriched by the participation of Italian students and Music professionals. Apart from the organization of concerts and shows within the school and in the most renowned theaters in Florence, the Music department also collaborates and consults with the major Florentine music institutions for the programming of festivals and concert seasons. Art Department

Even the Art Department constitutes an occasion for the exchange of ideas amongst Italian and foreign artists. Academy regularly hosts student art exhibits, displaying their best works, both within the walls of the school, as well as in other locations around the city which traditionally host artistic events. An active Scene-painting lab also gives the art students a chance to interact with the music department through the creation of sets for the theatrical performances sponsored by the Academy.
