Our Italian language school in Rome is officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and has been in operation since 1984 offering Italian language courses in Italy for students from all over the world as well as training courses for teachers of Italian for foreigners. In 2004, the school has been also accredited as a training institution by the Italian Ministry of University and Research. The Italian language school is located in the historic center of Rome, in an elegant Art Nouveau neighborhood full of trees and parks near "La Sapienza" University of Rome. The school occupies two large floors of an elegant "Liberty" villa surrounded by a spacious garden: the ideal atmosphere to learn the Italian language and to enjoy the city of Rome. Our group courses begin every two weeks and have an average of 7 to 8 persons and a maximum of 12. Lessons are held mornings and afternoons from Monday through Friday. Two different teachers of Italian conduct the language courses daily, each one teaches two hours at a time and each hour of a lesson lasts 50 minutes. Italian courses are offered at all language levels and the participants come from different nationalities what enriches the learning experience by sharing different ideas that belongs to each one's background. To help students become acquainted with the city, Italian Language Courses are supplemented by a varied program of extracurricular activities. At the start of each course, teachers distribute complete information about Rome, its cultural activities and its services.

Our Rome Plus Italian Language School is situated only a few steps away from the Colosseum and from the central station and can be easily reached by all kinds of transport. Ours is a small, cozy school with frescoed ceilings situated in an ancient building. In the summer we have full conditioning. It is an ideal solution for those who want to study in a comfortable environment done to make you learn seriously. Really small groups (max 6 people) create the ideal conditions for a full-immersion study of Italian language. Our intensive courses give to a student an opportunity to proceed in a quick but not suffocating rhythm. The teachers are particularly attentive to keep alive the attention of the students dividing the lesson in different kinds of didactic activities: listening comprehension, reading, speaking and autonomous production of the texts. On the other hand, one of our goals is to link the process of language learning with the acquisition of a wider knowledge of Italian culture. Subjects concerning Italian art and culture are frequently discussed during the lessons, and a part of the course (3-5 hours) is held directly in the historical places.
