Dublin City University (DCU), Glasnevin is located within 15 minutes of the airport and the city centre. DCU is the newest university in Dublin and offers very modern facilities to students. The Junior Summer Program at DCU is based on apartment style accommodation. Each apartment has five bedrooms, with ensuite bathroom facilities. Students share a large living room containing a sitting area/dining area/kitchen. Classes are held on campus in a modern purpose built facility.
The restaurant is situated within moments of the apartments and all meals are served here. Sports facilities are available in an adjacent park, with extensive playing fields and tennis courts. The campus also has a wide range of other facilities including launderette, bureau de change, bookshop, bank and newly built indoor heated swimming pool.
