Study Abroad in Ireland!

Our aim is to provide students with a wide range of linguistic skills thus ensuring that students are at ease with the English language and the English speaking world.

Our General English Courses run from September to June. Students may join the course every Monday.

Short and long term students are eligible to participate in the general English program which consists of 20 lessons per week which focus on improving all areas of language acquisition.

All students have access to computer and study facilities and all are welcome to participate in monthly excursions and visits.

One-to-one tuition is also available for students who require a course which is tailored specifically to meet their requirements.

General English Course Features:

• 20 lessons per week

• Levels: Elementary to Advanced, Beginners on request

• Ages: Minimum age 17

The Academic Year Program is open to students 17 years and over. There are many amenities available locally - banks, shops, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, gift shops etc. Dublin's famous St Stephen's Green is just a five-minute walk from the School and students can retreat there for lunch in the summer. The School is well serviced by public transport so students have no problem traveling to and from their host family.

Student may start the program from any Monday. On their first day at the School students are tested by the Academic Assistant to assess their level of English so that they can be placed in a level appropriate to their standard of English. Classes are available at all levels from Beginners to Advanced. Students on an academic year program progress through the levels throughout the year.

Progress through levels is determined by continuous assessment and regular progress tests, administered by the academic department. Consultation between students and their teacher(s) and the Academic Coordinator is very important. We also ask students to fill in regular check up questionnaires to ensure that students are satisfied with all aspects of their course and stay at the School.

When student level is satisfactory, students extend their academic horizons by taking relevant Examination Courses: Cambridge or TOEFL.

A range of executive business English programs offer the professional a wide choice. All executive English programs are conducted by highly skilled, specialised and experienced tutors.

NEEDS ANALYSIS: As courses are tailored to suit the individual's particular needs we request that all participants in our executive English programme contact us prior to attending a course.

DISTANCE LANGUAGE LEARNING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: The learning does not have to stop when your course finishes! The School offers a distance-learning program by email. Assignments are set and you and your tutor conduct classes across the "Information Superhighway" !

The Accommodation office will look after your accommodation needs. You can choose from a range of executive host families, or guest house or hotel accommodation in the vicinity.

In summer (July - August) we offer Junior residential summer programs in Ireland. Our Junior Program is based on host family and residential options and is open to students between 11 - 18 years of age.

Course dates: July and August, you may start the course any Monday.

Duration: 2, 3 or 4 weeks
