Summer Holiday Programs
The School offers 1, 2 and 3-week summer language programs by the sea in Central Greece at the foot of Mount Olympus, abode of the ancient Greek gods. These courses are intended for students and interested adults, highlighting on Modern Greek, Ancient Greek History and Greek Mythology.
Study Greek and Have Fun!
The courses start in May and go through to September. They are our popular Greek language courses with imphasis on a combination of sea, sun and learning. All summer courses are held by the sea in a luxury hotel in Central Greece.
Lessons emphasise on spoken Greek but also include instructions on reading and writing. In addition, the programs include tutoring in Greek traditional dances, evenings with Greek food and wine, musical events and other activities, in which all students participate.
There are also optional excursions to the historical and archaeological sites of Central Greece:
Vergina. The resting place of Philip II, king of Macedonia
and father of Alexander the Great.
Dion. The ancient city and theatre where you can see an
ancient Greek play.
Meteora. The famous monasteries built on huge granite
monoliths.
Delphi. The ancient oracle and navel of the Earth.
