We offer a language course with an internship for university or language school participants. It means that we arrange for a long-term internship for you in a company either in Heidelberg or in its vicinity.
You can apply your obtained knowledge directly in the company as well as get a glimpse into the organizational structures and workings of the German company. Although the internship brings you no income, it is nevertheless a very important element of your future working career. It is obvious that in a world of competition, an internship can be a decisive factor in winning your future job position as a teacher, assistant or project manager?
The success of your internship also depends on your linguistic competence. For this reason you should book and attend at least a two-week group course (40 lesson hrs, this option is also available as a private tuition) in order to be able to be qualified for the internship.
If you plan your internship, inform us please about your possible wishes and the kinds of companies with which you would like to work at least three months in advance. As we try to look for an internship place very carefully and attentively, we would like to point out to you that the number of available positions is rather low and there are also a considerable number of candidates who opt for this solution. Thus, we cannot really guarantee you that we will be able to find you an internship cut out to your wishes, suggestions and timing, and therefore we would like to ask you to stay open for possible alternatives.
In order to apply for an internship you are asked to prepare the following documents:
- A copy of your passport
- 2 photos
- CV
- Work certificates/practice
- Student certificate/ if one is a student
For the offered internship there is a fee, which includes: supervision and support on the spot, room reservation and consulting service. The internship fee is due to be paid only when you begin your internship. It will be dispensed with should you for some reasons be prevented from participation in it.

In a classroom context we support and challenge our students by means of our attentive assistance in small learning groups.
