Learn French on the French Riviera!

At our French Language School on the French Riviera you can start the course any Monday all year long. Students are received on Sundays. The School recommends a minimum of a 2 week stay and also proposes extended courses from 5 weeks and longer. Classes are held from Monday to Friday with the first Monday devoted to the evaluation of the students French level.

We offer courses at 5 levels: Beginner - Elementary - Intermediate - Advanced - Superior.

The first day is devoted to the campus orientation and the level evaluation placement test. After the test, groups are formed from beginners to advanced levels. Throughout your stay a coordinator will personally follow your progress, advise and help you to achieve your goals. The course material is included.

Methodology:

We use a modern conversational and immersion approaches to French language learning. With our Methodology, you will learn to speak French more quickly and easier than you may expect. We use dynamic classroom instruction and interaction combined with the immersion in the everyday life.

Our French Language School differentiates itself from other schools by choosing a location which also accommodates the French from February to the end of September. There are events, night festivals, cultural workshops and sport activities proposed in French and without extra charges.

The goal of our methodology is to make you comfortable using your new language in the practical situations that you encounter in everyday life, for example: travel, conducting business, meeting people, using the telephone, meetings, participating in a conversation effectively, etc. With our communicative and dynamic approach, you will rapidly find yourself speaking in the French language.

International French Summer Campus in Cannes:
15 to 19 years old, mixed with French-speaking students.

We offer you a unique opportunity to join an intensive French Program in Cannes during the summer season. In 10 minute walk from the historic centre of the city, our school has combined experience, imagination and teaching skils to offer you a unique experience of learning French in the most beautiful site of the French Riviera.

This program merges intensive language training in French with debates and multilingual workshops that deal with the challenges of globalization to Europe and the rest of the world. French-speaking students in the meantime enjoy this same program learning English. All students meet during multilingual workshops and activities.

Two Sessions:

From July 13th to July 26th 2008.
From August 3rd to August 16th 2008.

French-speaking students can also participate in the Camp and learn English.

French Language Immersion Courses:

• Standard Course of General French
  20 lessons (each 45 minutes) per week in a group of 10 students maximum. This course gives emphasis on clear and effective grammar to facilitate immediate oral and written expression in practical situations. It focuses on interactivity dynamics and supported by cultural and day to day materials. Duration: from 2 weeks to 6 months (24 weeks).
  
  
• Intensive French Language Workshorp
  Offered in addition to the Standard course and includes 8 lessons (each 45 minutes) per week in groups of 5 persons maximum. This is an option with more personalized guidance to further perfect acquired knowledge and increase vocabulary. This is a practice in linguistic reflexes with a cultural approach for all levels.
  
  
• Executive (Manager) French Immersion Course
  
  If you want instant results, this is the course for you. You will learn General French or French for Specific Professional Purposes in a mini-group of 1 to a maximum of 3 students. The course includes 30 lessons of 45 minutes per week. Schedule, content and goals are set directly with the teacher. We tailor design a special curriculum based on an assessment of your language needs, interests, and the written test and oral interview you take during your first day.

The executive’s individual needs, background, and learning style are all taken into consideration when curriculum, course, and housing choices are made.

Certificates and Diplomas

The French Language School on the French Riviera provides a certificate at the end of your stay. The School can also help to prepare for certain diplomas such as of the Ministry of Education (DELF), the Alliance Française and the Chamber of commerce.

College Credit

Most students come to our School to advance their French language capabilities in as short a period of time as possible, and academic credit is not normally a concern. However, if requested we are more than willing to provide your university with an Official Transcript and course information such as: course syllabus, total hours taken, teacher evaluation, attendance report, curriculum covered, final exam with letter grade, etc., in order to grant academic credit for your course.
