Quito is one of the prettiest and richest cities of the ancient Inca Empire. Its past is very exciting: conquered in 1534 by the Spanish, it is one of the oldest cities in South America. The historic center with its magnificent palaces of the colonial age form an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Quito lies 2850 Meter above sea level in a picturesque valley surrounded by majestic peaks of the Andes. Despite it being only 22km away from the Equator, Quito's climate is spring-like all year round!

Our Spanish Language School

is fully recognised by the Ecuadorian Ministerío de Eduación as a language institute and was recommended by the Ecuadorian pavilion at the 2000 World Exhibition in Hannover.

The school is located in Batan Alto, a modern quarter of Quito, the 2.2 million city. The school is situated just below the beautiful Metropolitan Park. The school's location offers an incredible view of the whole town. And with its spacious and light classrooms it also offers an ideal environment in which to study Spanish. You can relax on our terrace or in our garden during breaks, and if you please you can even take classes outdoors. Each course, no matter whether it is a mini group or a one-on-one lesson, is held in a separate classroom.

Our courses and levels

are in full compliance with the European Curriculum and North American University credit transfer requirements, so that the successful completion of our courses can be accredited by your home university.

We offer mini-group, individual and specialized Spanish language courses of different intensity and duration. All our Spanish Language programs and courses are tailored to each students' needs. New courses start on any Monday of the year.

All Our Teachers

have university degrees and many years of experience at teaching Spanish as a foreign language. And the regular training they receive ensures that their teaching maximises student success. Our teachers make use of a wide range of modern teaching strategies, supported by the use of multimedia, and put very strong emphasis on the practical use of Spanish.

Our Students

come from all over the world. Most book Spanish courses of about 3-8 weeks, but longer courses are of course available and popular too. Most students are between 18 and 38 years old, but we are always very happy to welcome all "mature" students!
