Chinese Mandarin Language and Culture Courses
at your Chinese Teacher's Home
Our goal is to offer Chinese Mandarin Language tuition to people from all over the world at the "Most Pleasant City in China". Our school offers intensive individual Chinese language courses at all levels in the resedential environment (one teacher - two students or one teacher - three students) and all classes are held in the Chinese teacher's home.
The base of the school's success is the creation of a perfect atmosphere in which the Chinese language becomes part of your daily life. You will live in the same place where you will receive your Chinese language training, offering you professional support 24 hours a day... Participants will not only learn Chinese for 15 or 25 hours a week during individual instruction, but also during breaks, meals and in cultural activities with their teachers.

Xiamen, China's cleanest, most beautiful, seaport city, is located on the southeastern coast of Fujian Province in the subtropical zone. Xiamen City, as an administrative unit, can be dated back as far as the Song Dynasty. It has a temperate climate with an annual average temperature of about 21 C . Neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter, Xiamen has pleasant, spring-like weather year round, and it has been honored as "The Garden on the Sea" and "The Most Pleasant City in China".
 Xiamen, formerly called Amoy, has always been an important trading port, but since its establishment as one of China's first Special Economic Zones in 1981, Xiamen has become a "window city" for China's opening to the outside world. The China International Fair for Investment & Trade, which attracts thousands of businessmen from all over the world, is held annually in Xiamen from September 8 to 12.
Today, Xiamen is a rapidly growing city, with a vigourous economy and a fully-modern infrastructure. Over the past 10 years, Xiamen has increasingly focused on the cultivation of international trade, education, and tourism. Xiamen, as with most major metropolis, offers a variety of cultural and entertainment activities such as parks, music halls, museums, exhibition center, sports center, golf courses, bowling centers together with numerous festivals, cultural activities and events throughout the year.
The city is itself a big island, with mountains in the center, and beaches on on the border. Swimming is the hottest sport in Summer. Sailing is also gaining popularity. The world-famous island, Gu-Lang-Yu, is a pearl shining in the Xiamen Harbor. No motor vehicles are allowed on the island, and tourism is the biggest industry.
