Our Chinese Language School in Shanghai offers 12 courses at 9 levels from total beginner to advanced students all year round. The courses fall into four main categories-General Chinese, Business Chinese, HSK preparation and Others (include spoken, character, writing and kids). All the courses are available in groups and individuals.

The maximum group size is limited to 10 (average 6) to ensure every student gets full attention from teacher and ample time for practice. Each lesson is 50 minutes long. We create a culturally diverse environment for developing language and interpersonal skills since our small class is usually joined by students of a mix of nationalities. The courses are taught in Chinese or English (for beginners), however, French, German, Japanese are also used as teaching language if for a language homogeneous group.

Quality and passion are never over-rated at our school. Our commitment to excellence propels us to surpass the rigorous standards of Urban Education Department and other schools. Our teachers are all highly qualified and experienced, and each must complete a thorough orientation prior to teaching. Additionally many of the teachers have considerable life experience having worked in a broad range of areas from the commercial world to the performing arts. All of them speak other languages. This adds up to an international and cosmopolitan team, which is the way it should be for a city like Shanghai.

The teachers draw on their skills and experience to select the most appropriate approach for each student or group. They maximize students' potential by constant monitoring of students' progress. Additionally, teachers are observed at least biweekly by a supervisor to ensure their effectiveness.

What makes us really special is the caring and personalized attention staff and teachers give students, both in and out of the classroom. It is not uncommon to see teachers spending their breaks with students or enjoying the Shanghai nightlife with their students after class. The school provides close approach to every problem or concern a student might have.

We normally have an average of 6 to 10 students per class. This small class setting allows for our students to receive the individual attention required for them to succeed in their course of study.
