In addition to our Executive Spanish language courses, Santiago Plus Spanish Language School also offers Special Programs in areas of interest such as culture, ecotourism, skiing and more. Special Programs are taught in Spanish with two goals in mind: to improve your language ability and to help you learn more about your particular area of interest.

Spanish for Lawyers
Specially designed for lawyers, this course includes private lessons on a specialized topic of your choice, ranging from Chilean politics, to civil law, to constitutional law. An excursion allows you to practice your Spanish in context, while exploring further aspects of Chilean society and law.
This program includes:
1. Four hours of private lessons on your specialized topic.
2. One excursion (options include the historical district, the Supreme Court and the old congress building).

Spanish & Culture
A relatively isolated country tucked between the towering Andes to the east and the majestic Pacific to the west, Chile has developed its own unique culture. Our Spanish & Culture program helps you discover Chilean history, literature, art and, of course, language.
This program includes:
1. Four hours of private lessons on the topic of your choice - from Chilean history, to literature, to architecture.
2. An excursion to help introduce you to Chilean culture (options include Museo Artes Visuales, Palacio Cousiño and Casa Colorada).

Spanish & Skiing
Come and enjoy not only our world-class Spanish courses, but also Chile's world-class skiing! It's the perfect way to escape the heat of the summer up north (Chile's ski season runs from June-September) while perfecting your Spanish down south. And since the ski trips are on the weekends, you'll still have plenty of time during the week to get to know Santiago and its environs.
This program includes:
1. Day trip to Valle Nevado, El Colorado or La Parva.
2. Ski-lift ticket and day pass for day of skiing.
3. Round-trip transportation from Santiago to ski resort
4. Equipment rental (skis, boots & poles or snowboard & boots)
5. Ski/snowboard lessons at El Colorado (minimum two persons)

Spanish & Wine
With an almost Mediterranean climate and fertile valleys stretching north and south of Santiago, Chile is famous for its vineyards - and no visit is complete without sampling some of its world-renowned wines. Enhance your Spanish while experiencing the true flavors of the country; learn the techniques of wine tasting, and then put them to use at a tour of one of Chile's finest wineries.
This program includes:
1. A one-hour class on types of wine and the techniques of wine tasting.
2. A guided excursion to Viña Cousiño Macul vineyard and winery.
