Chile occupies a ribbon-like (over 4300 km long, average of 180 km wide) stretch of land from the northern frontier with Peru south to the Straight of Magellan. The country is bordered by the Pacific and the Andes and offers travelers abundant opportunities.
The capital of Chile, Santiago is conveniently located one hour west of the Andes Mountains and one hour east of the Pacific Ocean. The past decade's economic growth and investment have created a clean, modern city, while colonial charm and historic museums and monuments have remained preserved.
Our Study Abroad credit courses in Santiago, Chile are certified by the Universidad de Viņa del Mar, a nationally accredited university. Courses are taught by faculty of the university and comply with the generally accepted standard of 15 contact hours (50 minutes/hour) of class time per credit hour.
You should check with an advisor at your institution concerning whether or not additional information (course syllabus, description, etc.) is required to guarantee credit acceptance. We will send such information upon request.
Upon program completion you will receive an official transcript endorsed by the affiliated university.
