Within a ten-minute walk from the school are parks (including famous Stanley Park), beaches, art galleries, public libraries, sports and events stadiums, fitness facilities, community centres, theatres, shopping and many restaurants and cafes.

The school has been recently renovated and facilities are bright, spacious and modern. Amenities include 11 classrooms, a boardroom, and a student kitchen with microwaves, coffee and snack vending machines.

While most students bring their lunches to school to eat in the lounge, there is also a cafe and convenience store in the building, and a back courtyard. Also just one block from the school is a beautiful oceanfront park, where students can eat their lunches during warmer months.

The CBEI computer lab has free high-speed Internet and email access, word processing and presentation software, and programs that help students practice their English. We also have wireless Internet access in classrooms, for students who have laptop computers.
